Paddles

Your paddle is arguably the most personal of all your equipment purchases and there are differences that aren’t always obvious by just looking at them.  Choosing the right paddle requires you to be ‘hands on’ as each one has it’s own set of characteristics.  There are basic guidelines for how tall your paddle should be (Approx 10″ above your height for flatwater/touring and 6″ for surfing and river rapids/whitewater).  It’s part science and art so testing out a few paddles is the best remedy.  We have a full stock of demo paddles for you to try so that you can make an educated purchase.
