Connecting You to Adventures in the Okanagan

Where to Pedal
Kalavida is conveniently located at Km 0 of the Okanagan Rail Trail, the north trailhead in Coldstream, with plenty of public parking nearby, including the newly completed Coldstream Station.
The trail from Vernon to Lake Country is open and ready to ride, offering spectacular lake views. This scenic stretch follows the west side of Kal Lake on a smooth, wide path with a gentle grade — perfect for all levels of cyclists, trail runners, and walkers.
While a small section between Lake Country and Kelowna remains under construction, riders can enjoy beautiful out-and-back routes from either end. The full connection is expected soon and we’ll share updates as they become available.

Where to Paddle
Kal Beach is your gateway to paddleboard adventures. With Kalavida just steps from the shore, it couldn’t be easier to get on the water!
From here, you can explore the vibrant blue hues and quiet coves of Kal Lake Or, if you're up for adventure, Okanagan Lake is just a short drive away, offering wide-open waters from Paddlewheel Park or Kin Beach.
Craving a peaceful escape? Head to Lake Country where boats are few and the calm is all yours.
For something off the beaten path, try the Shuswap River Run — a scenic float, 30min North of Vernon past Armstrong. Or ride the breeze on the Kekuli Downwind Run, and let the wind carry you back to Kal Beach.
